Hey,I’m Mackenzie
I’m the woman behind the camera here. I was born and raised in South Florida, but wandered out to the mountains shortly after graduating college in search of something new. I love adventure, movement, and all things that involve creative expression.
I always knew I was an artist, but being a professional third wheel wasn’t exactly what I thought I would end up doing with my career. It turns out to be the perfect fit for a psychology major who is intrigued by human connection and also handy with a camera. I say I fell into this job, but really it found me when I needed it most. Being a part of so many wedding days has shaped me into someone with a much bigger heart and a deeper understanding of all it’s diverse expressions.
When I am not finding new muses through my lens, I am probably in a movement class, laying in the sun, or lost in whatever I am reading for the week. I am currently in grad school continuing my psychology education, but photography will always be a part of my world. Whether you are getting married, building a house, starting a business, launching a workshop, hosting a yoga retreat, or just wanting some creative portraits with your cat — I would love to chat and explore what we can create

I hope that my grounded energy allows you to relax into the moment and feel comfortable opening up and being yourself. I will give you all the direction that you need, but it is up to you to stay present and have fun with it. My main focus on wedding day is to create art around your story, but it is also important to me that you get to enjoy your day and not be endlessly wrapped up in photos. I am here to be a part of your timeline planning and give you all the tips and resources you need to get the best photos, with the least amount of stress.
