K+J Engagement Session in the Rocky Mountains

When Kaitlin wanted to do her engagement shoot in the mountains with a vintage car, I was immediately stoked. Not going to lie though, we faced just about every obstacle trying to make this shoot happen and had to reschedule about three times before it all came together. From forced weather cancellations, to the car not starting the hour of our shoot… But that’s just how life goes sometimes. Luckily, we were both equally determined to make it happen. And I am so glad we did.

I met Kaitlin in 2018 when I was looking for a model for a bridal styled shoot. Which means, Kaitlin put on a wedding dress and pretended to be a bride for me, out in the freezing cold, for the sake of my amateur portfolio. And now, five years later she is back for real with her fiance. So we made a show of it! I chose to just share the black and white edits because they capture the mood so well! Black and white is so romantic and dear to my heart. Enjoy!
